Selective Serves
First, we need to talk about how the selective serves came to be. The date was April 6,1917 the president Woodrow Wilson with congress put the U.S. in a state of war with joining the Great War. However, there was a problem there were only about 190,000-240,000 members of the military in total. With that lack of manpower, the government pass the selective serves bill on May 18, 1917.
How does the Selective serves work. The way that the selective serves work that a person from the government will selective people be selecting be day, month, and year for example it's World War 2 in early 1942 and my birthday is July 12, 1920. I would get a letter in the mail do to them not having TV back then and the letter would say were and went to report to and if I didn't show I would have solver punishments.
Going off of the end point in the previse paragraph the punishments that go with not reporting to ware were told to when you were draft. Where are a list of three punishments that people can get if they don't show and people can get all three of them. First there's a five-year federal prison sentence. Seconded a $250,000 fine. Finale one is you will not be about to work for federal nor stated governments.
Now sentients we covered the history and the punishments we can talk about the topic and why you are here why are women not required to sign up for the selective serves and why people thing women can't, or shouts be drafted to the military.
Why people thing women shouldn't be draft. People will say women aren't Strongins for the job. There statement is half right will women ever be as strong as men not however there are standers that everyone has to reach to join the military if women are about to meet the standers, they are stroganoff to fight. Other people will say women aren't mentally strong enough for the job but ever one has a mentally line that can't be cross it is no different from their male counterpart.
Why don't women have to sign up for the selective serves. First women were seen as people that were better sortied for support roles like nurse, truck, driver, etc. Second women were as weaker than men in mentally and physically. Three women were seen as homemakers and the parent to stay with the children. The fourth and final is the bill was passed in 1917 when all these thoughts were still strong.
With all these thoughts that women were weaker than men there are a multitude of women in war that have been superiority then her male counter parts. There are many great examples but today I will use two of them, Zheng Yi Sao and Elizabeth 1st. Both of these women have a history that supports that they are even and or superiority to their male counter parts.
Zheng YI Sao "1765-1807" Zheng was a Piret off the cost of chine. She was the leader of 6 different fleets that had 600 ships and 40,000 men at its peak. Zheng had her person fleet that was name the red flag fleet which at its peak having 200 ships. Her fleets would raid from the coast of Vietnam to the Koren. Zheng Yi Sao latter made a deal with the Chinea government to stop raiding and just to settle down.
The second Queen Eliabeth the 1st "1533-1603" the queen of England "1558-1603". When Queen Eliabeth gained power in 1558 the country of England was not doing the grated in every way. However, by 1565 the country was set back on course by Eliabeth's accents as Queen. Another great event that happens under Eliabeth the 1st is the war with the Spaniards with the Spanish Armada even with the numbers disadvantage Queen Elibeth and her men won the day and drove back the Spaniards.
To sum all of this article up is that women and men are different and will never be the same, but women nor men are envy more special than the other.
