Selective Serves  

Why must men in the U.S. sign up for a draft and receive penalties if they do not, while the women are not required to sign up and do not receive penalties for not.

The draft “Selective Serves” has been around since 1917 were men from the ages of 18 - 25. Sens the very biggin of the selective serves men that turn 18 must sign up for it, if not there are many penalties. 

The Selective Serves came around after the U.S. joined WW1 due to the need of the more soldiers to fight.  Now the reason it was only men that had to sign up for the Selective Serves was at the time that the bill was pass women were seen as the person to stay home and take care of the home. 

After the Selective Serves was put into place, the government had to have people sign up for the Selective Serve, but there would be an issue because people don’t what to sign up to go to war.  Due to that issue the government had to add “incentives” for people to sign up. 

 

There are three punishments that the government put in place to make men sign up.  First unable to work as a federal employee, second ineligibility for federal and state student aid, and three felony charges that are either 250,000 dollars fine or 5 years of imprisonment. 

Many people may thing that these punishments are harsh which they might be right, but countries from all across the world matter a fact a good chunk of countries have mandatory service in their arm focus, so having to sign up for a draft isn't that bad in the grand scheme of things. 

Now why do not women have to sign up for the selective severs. When the bill was passed to make selective severs a think woman where home make and oppress at the time, but in are moder time women are equal under the law and are not expected to be home makers anymore. 

on the topic of women in the selective severs why do not women have any punishment for not signing up for the selective severs. The reason women do not have any punishment for not signing up for the selective severs is that women are not required to sign up for it. 

Now sense we cover the history and the punishments that correspond with the selective severs.  We need to talk about why shooed women be required to sign up for the selective severs.  Thow out the year's women became equal under the law, same as the men. What make women being required to sign up for selective severs benefit the countries and not hiret it.  

How does drafting women do not heart the country.  First the U.S. military is already intersex.  With women being drafted the U.S. is give more manpower to call upon.  A thread reason if women can be drafted it gives the military people will a different thot process. 

While people may argue that having  women in the military will weak the units there in, however the U.S. military has let women into combat units sends 2016 although that women tend to be physic weaker them men if the women can hit the PT score they need to pass they have every right to go in combat with the rest of their fellow soldiers

Thow out history there has been many soldiers that were women and they were far better than their male counter parts for example Joan of Arc she led the French army to many victories during the hundred-year war. Another example of women fighting and being better than their male counter parts were the “Night Witches” of the 588th Bomber Regiment during WW2. 

Women many not be as physic strong as men they many do not have the size on men its does not mean they are any less deadly as their male counterpart. Women have been in war just as much as men have been just in smaller number.   

Women are not least nor greater than men that when to war.  War is war you fight to win by anything mains necessary, and to do that you need manpower and more manpower gives your side an edge over the other side that does not have as much manpower as you.   

At the end of the day women are no different between man and women in the eyes of life. Most people want to live in peace, but life is no peace. It is not all sunshine and rainbows. You must fight for what you want; this goes for all living things, and if you do not fight for yourself, no one will.
